Morning Inspirations – TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR THOUGHTS

As you step out today, here’s a reminder from God’s word to you from 2 Corinthians 10:5 [KJV] “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”.

The [AMP] says “We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.”

The mind is the faculty of our consciousness and thought and it also represents the element of who we are that enables us to think and feel. Because the mind is so powerful, it is usually the place where the devil first engages in battle with us as believers, it requires that we pay close attention to it. This is why there is a lot of references in the bible to the the mind.

It is important to know that whatever we allow or give attention to in our mind and thoughts will inevitably take control of our life. This is why it is necessary that we meditate on God’s word, things that are positive and of good report.

As a believer, you need to be mindful of your thoughts and pay attention to what you allow in your mind. Which means you need to be careful what you watch, what you hear and listen to, the people you surround yourself with and what you allow people to speak over your life. Remember, mind battles are very powerful which is why it is important you pay close attention to your thoughts.

Therefore, as you go about your business and activities today, take charge of your mind through God’s word and remember you have the power and authority in Jesus name to cast down every negative imaginations and every thoughts contrary to God’s will for your life!

Don’t keep quiet when contrary thoughts come to your mind. Open up your mouth, declare and confess what God’s word says over you!

You are Victorious in Christ Jesus, Hallelujah!

Have a blessed and fruitful day!
