As you step out today, remember God’s word to you from James 1:5 [NIV] “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you”.
Another translation [NLT] says “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking”
Wisdom is essential and crucial in our everyday dealings as it gives us insight into doing the right thing, making sound decisions and knowing what to do each time. In every area of our lives, i.e., family, marriage, business, work, etc. Wisdom is required and not knowing what to do or the right decisions to make can lead to making wrong choices that can lead to catastrophic consequences or adverse effect on others.
Proverbs 4:7 says “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding”. The above scriptures are a reminder that God wants us to walk in wisdom every day which is why He has extended His invitation to us to seek Him for wisdom.
God wants you to know that He will not rebuke you for asking because He knows how crucial wisdom and it benefits you.
Therefore, as you go about your daily business and activities today, accept God’s invitation to come boldly and confidently into His presence and ask Him for wisdom for every area of your life!
