As you step out today, here’s a reminder from God’s word to you from Romans 12:15 [GWT] “Be happy with those who are happy. Be sad with those who are sad.”
I love this bible verse because it speaks so clearly about our attitudes towards others and it also provides us with wisdom on maintaining healthy relationships.
Today, let’s take time to celebrate others success and accomplishment! By commemorating others successes, you create opportunities for others to celebrate and rejoice with you too!
God is the giver of gifts and talents, and He has given everyone based on their abilities – Matthew 25:14-30. So, rather than be envious and looking for opportunities to slander people with words or speak ill of them when you see them succeed. Let us choose to rejoice with them, learn from them and let their good deeds motivate us to make use of our gifts and talents to impact others too!
Therefore, as you go about your daily business and activities today, remember when you deliberately celebrate others, you intentionally kill the seed of envy, pride, discontentment and other fleshy desires!
So be intentional about celebrating others today!
Know this – it is wise to celebrate others because it’s a seed you are sowing for others to rejoice and celebrate you too!
