What joyous news it is to know that the season of Christmas is not only known to be for merriment or, for festivities or to be involved in some form of community service or act of kindness. Rather, it gladdens my heart that the true joy of this season where we celebrate Christmas is because it heralds the birth of God’s only son, Jesus Christ , our Lord and Savior of mankind from the hold of sin we were in as a result of Adam and Eve’s fall (Genesis 3) in the Garden of Eden.
To therefore, know that the most joyous news we declare because of the birth of Jesus is born out of God’s immeasurable love for mankind because He desires to have a relationship and to fellowship with us. God’s Love propelled him to give us His only begotten son (John 3:-16) as Jesus was the only acceptable sacrifice that could stone for our sins.
So, to know and understand this truth is to be again, reminded that Christ is the reason not only for this season but for every season of our lives and our very existence. And in Him we truly discover our Real Self, we are able to answer the life long aged question WHO AM I & WHAT IS MY PURPOSE HERE ON EARTH!
