GOD’S PROMISE – EXPECT LOVE AND MORE LOVE!

As you step out today, here’s a reminder of God’s word to you from Jeremiah 31:3 [MSG].

”God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!”

The World English Bible translation says,

”Yahweh … [saying], Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.”

Today’s Bible verse is a powerful reminder of God’s love for us his children. A love that is immeasurable and and unquantifiable. A love that seeks to always draw us close. A love that never runs dry and like a well, we can keep drawing from it again and again. Today’s key verse is one of my beloved Bible verses not just because it emphasises God’s promise of his unconditional love towards us his children but mainly because it is an assurance that nothing can ever separate or take away God’s love from us.

So, if peradventure, you have ever been in doubt of God’s love for you because you sometimes feel that you fall short of doing what God wants you to do, or because of the poor choices and decisions made, then today’s key verse is such a beautiful and amazing reminder of the unconditional love that God has for you and me. A love that guilt, condemnation, worry, fear etc. can never take away.

God reminds us through this scripture that no matter the weaknesses in our lives that seem to make us feel unworthy of receiving  Hi’s love and grace, He as our loving Father has never and will never quit loving us rather what we can expect from Him is LOVE, LOVE, AND MORE LOVE. Hallelujah!!! Isn’t that such goodnews to know and bask in.

Today’s key verse reads as God’s personal love letter to you and He is reminding you today through his word to quit feeling less of yourself, to quit doubting His love and good plans for you because you are LOVED WITH AN EVERLASTING LOVE  i.e a love that is pure, guilt-free, not condemning, non-judgemental, eternal and unchanging.

Therefore do not let guilt, condemnation, the feeling of not being good enough, or the lies of the devil that no matter how much you try, you will never get it right or be good enough for God rob you of the truth that God loves you unconditionally and His loving kindness draws you nearer to Him always.

The Bible states in Romans 5:8 that “God demonstrates and proves his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Pause and meditate on this verse for few seconds – Glory to God! This simply reflects the heart of the Father towards us that even while we were deep in sin and the lives we lived then separated us from Him, God never stopped hovering his love over us.

God’s love pursues us just like a groom pursues his bride. God longs to love us endlessly not only when we get it right but also when we fall short and don’t get it right. God loves you and me ‘recklessly’ and He will do everything it takes to win us back to Him again and again. We see this love demonstrated in the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32.

God’s love for us is immeasurable, it is not conditioned only to a special date, like February 14th ( a day set aside to show love in a special way which sometimes is motivated by selfish reasons) or some special occasion . God’s love is pure, true,  beautiful and immeasurable and as it is rolled out to us His children everyday. God’s love for us can never fail, it can never run dry and it will never run out on us simply because God is committed to loving and not quitting loving us!

Therefore, as you go about your daily business and activities today, I encourage you to take a moment to meditate and soak in this beautiful love lines that God is speaking to you through today’s key verse. If you ever feel short of God’s love ( which is a lie the devil tries to sell to you and meas believers) just run and find your way to the Father’s Mercy Seat.

Come boldly before your heavenly Father’s throne of grace ( Hebrews 4:16) where you can be assured that a ‘Beautiful Exchange’ will take place where every feeling of inadequacy, condemnation, guilt, and weakness exists. Love up on your Father today, thank Him for His everlasting and unconditional love towards you and ask Him for renewed strength and grace to keep pursuing Him every day!

Remember, you’re Loved with an everlasting Love,  Loved by an everlasting God, so Expect love, love and More Love! Hallelujah!

Do have a blessed and fruitful day!

God bless you.
