Hope & Faith [FHIC]

WRITE IT DOWN!

 Jeremiah 30:2 [AMP] says,

“Thus says the Lord God of Israel, ‘Write in a book all the words which I have spoken to you.

Habakkuk 2:2 [AMP] says,
“Then the Lord answered me and said,
“Write the vision [revelation]. And engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets. So that the one who reads it will run.”

Habakkuk 2:2 [NASB] says,

“Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision And inscribe it on tablets, That the one who reads it may run.”

Obedience, instructions, stillness, revelations, opportunities, strategies, these are some of the words that has been echoed and emphasised by every speaker we’ve had so far on FINDING HOPE IN COMMUNITY (A weekly Facebook live broadcast where a panel of guest speakers inspire hope and build faith through God’s word).

They referred to these words as they shared on intimacy with God, spending time in the secret place as the N0.1 priority in this season alongside obedience to the voice and instructions of God.

However, another key word that has been emphasised is WRITING ✍🏾 yes writing down and capturing the instructions, revelations and insights the Holyspirit is speaking and downloading to us in our time of prayer and meditation.

One of the speaker @funtoibuoye sharing on the importance of going into God’s presence with a notepad 📝 stated “God does not speak to those who don’t write.” To some this may sound hard but that is the truth. God again and again in the Bible instructs his servants to write down what he speaks to them.

Why would God require us to do this? Because God does not waste his words. His word contains great power, His word contains life, his word is credible and his word can be trusted. God’s word is his bond to us.

The following Bible verses gives us a clear picture and insight as to why God’s word is important and also why there’s need to write down what He says to us.

Matthew 24:35 [NIV] says,

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never (disappear) pass away.

Isaiah 55:11 [ESV] says,

“so shall my word be that goes out (proceed) from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty (void, useless, without result), but it shall accomplish that which I purpose (please), and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it (purpose).”

Psalm 138:2 [NKJV] says,

“I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.”

So, if God takes his word seriously, we also must do the same by making sure we come into his presence ready with our writing materials. Like a good student, ready to take down instructions and directions required to move to the next level.

Even in this unprecedented times of lockdown, crisis and famine, God is speaking and He is reminding us through today’s key verses Jeremiah 30:2 and Habakkuk 2:2, the need to write down every instruction He speaks to us. So that we can run with it and those who read it may run with it too ( your followers, employees, team members, business partners, etc).

Don’t go into the Lord’s presence without your notepad 📝 or at least your phone📱 or your tablet too 😉 (as the scriptures says) to record or capture all that He will say to you. When you pray it is important to be still to hear what next your Heavenly Father wants to say to you. This is because God has strategies, answers to riddles and enigmas that he wants to download to you in this difficult, uncertain and unprecedented times.

And one of the benefits of writing down what God is saying is this – You gain clarity and direction as to what to do in the Now and in the future. This is because when God speaks to us, He speaks to us about the Now or about the future.

So, with God’s word captured and written down, you gain clarity  especially when you find yourself in a season of difficulty or in a season where you lack clarity as to the next step to take concerning a situation. In those season, you are able to go back into your books 📖 , your journals and voice recording to read and hear what God might has spoken to you about the time you are in.

So, just like Esther, Deborah, Joseph, Daniel, David, Noah, Moses, Jacob, Issac, Abraham, the Apostles and the many ordinary people in the Bible who achieved extraordinary things and prospered by creating innovative industries and businesses, relaunched, diversified and expanded their businesses. You also can do extraordinary things, birth businesses,  solve enigmas and prosper too but first, you need to start writing what He speaks to you in the secret place.

Take action now, WRITE THE VISION 📝 , there are transformational books inside of you that are solutions to today’s crisis -WRITE IN A BOOK WHAT GOD IS SAYING!

Remember, God does not speak to those who don’t write ✍🏾😉

Remain blessed and highly favoured!
