Morning Inspirations – KEEP ASKING, SEEKING, AND KNOCKING

As you step out today, here’s a reminder of God’s word to you from Matthew 7:8 [TLB]

7.”Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

8. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”

These bible verses encourage us as believers not to give up in our prayers to the Lord especially in our seeking to know Him more and His perfect will for our lives. These scriptures admonish us to keep asking, seeking and knocking until we receive from the Lord. Often as believers, we get discouraged and overwhelmed with worry and anxieties when it looks like what we have asked, knocked at the gates of heaven and also sought the Lord for in our prayers is not coming to pass.

My encouragement to you today, as you go about your business and activities is – don’t give up in asking, seeking and knocking. No matter what the issue(s) or the situation (s) you might presently be going through, just keep taking it to the Lord in prayer.

And let your confident assurance be this – that God is working on your case 24-7 because He is the God that neither slumbers nor sleep (Psalm121:4). So while you are waiting for God to answer your prayers, make sure His praises does not depart from your mouth and keep your faith intact.

And when God answers your prayers, remember to let the world know that you serve a living God that truly answers prayers! Hallelujah!
