GET BACK TO YOUR IDENTITY MANUAL!

Ephesians 1:11a [MSG] says “ it’s in Christ we find out who we are and what we are living for…”

You know it’s impossible for anyone who has an iPhone designed by Apple to go seek out a Samsung manual to discover its function. In essence what I am trying to say is this, every living and non living thing has its source and origin and abuse is inevitable the moment we usurp and don’t recognise and acknowledge our source as we should. When this happens, we truncate our purpose and live a fruitless and frustrated life.

The Bible which I call the believers identity manual reminds us through its pages that we are the express image, God’s blueprint(Genesis 1:27), handiwork, workmanship, the masterpiece of the Sovereign God, the creator and mastermind of the Universe. He is our source and it’s only in him we can truly discover Who We truly are, our purpose and the fulfilment of our purpose.

Are you that person who is at a crossroad in life and life just feel and looks so meaningless because you have no clue or understanding of your life purpose?

You are not alone, myself including many others have been at this junction of life too at some point. (And sometimes we kind of find ourselves back there again in certain seasons of our lives when we allowed self doubt and feeling of inadequacy overwhelm us). But you must intentionally choose to keep focused on Christ and the leading of the Holyspirit in your life even in uncertain times. And most importantly, you must do away with comparison of who you are with others as Paul admonished in 1 Corinthians 3:3 (check out The Passion Translation).

But there’s goodnews dear friend, there’s purpose in you to be fulfilled and like a Pastor I know often says, you were first a purpose before a being, in essence God first determined your purpose before He then allowed you to be conceived and born to fulfill that great purpose He has for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

But here’s the deal, you need to seek out the manual, go back to your source, connect with Jesus, the son of God, who is the way back to your source (John 14:6) and in him you get to be reintroduced to your real self, (i.e. the real You) and through his Holyspirit, you receive the capacity to live out and be realigned to your purpose.

Remember, purpose is the discovery & aligning to the good works you have been prepared in advance to do by God (Ephesians 2:10) even before you lived out one day (Psalm 139:16).  Marshawn Evan Daniels author of 100 days of Believing Bigger goes on to state that “Purpose is not an ‘intellectual exercise’ but a ‘contact sport ’ which we are  supposed to engage with fear, uncertainty and challenges as that is  where we find out what God has predeposited inside of us.”

Don’t give up dear friend regardless of the challenges your purpose path is taking you, remember, it’s a ‘contact sport’ which therefore means you have to feel and experience the process of refining, shaking, stretching, pressing, confining, and defining in order to be equipped, suited and fit to fulfill your God ordained purpose.  Joseph and  Queen Esther in the Bible can sure  testify to this purpose pruning process, which I also can testify too that in my journey of purpose, it’s definitely not being a stroll in the park process but grateful for the grace and strength of the Holyspirit to keep forging ahead and not  give up.

Romans 3:23 (TPT &MSG) says “for we all have sinned and are in need of the glory of God, and God has made all things right by giving us his beloved son Jesus Christ since as sinners we are totally incapable of living the glorious lives He wills for us. So, when we willingly surrender our heart back to our Lord Jesus Christ, we give the Holyspirit the permission to help us truly discover what our pre-made design is, what  it is about and how to fulfil it.

When you know Christ, you know your Identity and you discover your Purpose. Remember, it’s only in Christ you get reintroduced to your true self! – 2Corinthians 5:17.

Dear friend, It’s time to get back to your identity manual!

Prayer

Lord help me to always return to my identity manual to seek your purpose for my life. May I never forget that you have a glorious future for me according to Jeremiah 29:11 and that  I am already pre-made, pre-built, and pre-designed  to do good works everyday and in every way in Jesus name. Amen.
