The truth is there’s so much negativity around and it spreads very quickly. So choose to be one of those that spread positivity, hope, truth and love. Make someone’s day the very best they’ve had in a long time!
A healthy marriage is the bedrock of society, I dare say, even though the institution of marriage has been fiercely reduced to a ‘concept’ and is experiencing not just a physical battle but spiritual warfare.
Marriage notwithstanding is not without its challenges and peculiarities but is still the most original masterpiece and beautiful idea of God.
It is not just a physical phenomenon but a profoundly spiritual phenomenon as expressed in Ephesians 5:25-31, Revelation 19:7-9, Revelation 21:9, John 3:27-30, Mark2:19-20 Jesus Himself is our bridegroom.
Despite the spiritual war that Satan has waged and is waging against the marriage institution, we know that we will overcome through Christ Jesus when we as believers refuse to be ignorant of his devices.
But intentionally and practically ‘work out’ (yes marriage is a real gym like ‘work out’ 😅) our marriage by submitting to the leading of the Holyspirit and being determined to work together in PARTNERSHIP

The truth is, a great marriage can still head down the divorce path as we see today, but what takes marriage off that track of statistics is not partial but ‘complete and total obedience to God’s word and the Holyspirit! ( I am still a work in progress on this journey myself…phew). It was such a privilege to be on the Lasting love show last year 2016 with host Funmi Adeyi.
When she asked my husband and me what our definition of marriage was. We knew that in our 11+ years of being married ( at that time) PARTNERSHIP with the Trinity ( God, Jesus, and the Holyspirit) and with each other was what we wanted to share with people on how we have been able to navigate through the many roller coaster rides of our marriage and still doing.
I pray that no matter what the situation is currently in your marriage, the wisdom of the Lord will continually be poured out to you to make it a relationship that will bring hope and healing to others in Jesus’ name!
