As you step out today, here’s my prayer for you from Ephesians 3:16-19 [NLT].
16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. ( I ask God that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love- MSG)
19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
I pray for you that as you go about your daily business and activities today, you will encounter situations that will leave you overwhelmed with God’s love for you.
I pray for you today that your heart will desperately seek and pursue after God.
I pray that as you experience the love of Christ you will know that –
You are Chosen and not forsaken
You are who God says you are
You are fearful and wonderfully made
God is for you and not against you
God loves and cares for you deeply and you are worth the price He paid for you on the cross
I pray for you that no matter what today brings, you will experience the peace of the Lord that surpasses human understanding and your confidence will be rooted in Christ unconditional love for you. Amen.
